La Montchevalleraie is an elegant chateau built in 1780 for an aristocratic family of Anjou.
After a period of restoration of the castle and the park, the owner decides to restore the castle and give back the delicate and refined vibes of a french countryside family home from the 18th century. With a subtle mix of furniture and family heirlooms or antique, the owner has restored to the lifestyle of the « Siècle des Lumères » around his collections and memories.
Henceforth Château de La Montchevalleraie is an elegant and refined atmosphere reigns in the lounges and rooms of the castle. The chateau has the label » Vieilles Maisons Francaises Historic Heritage ».
The two guest rooms and one junior suite are located on the main floor of the chateau. Rooms are furnished with French and English furniture of the XVIII and XIX centuries. All the rooms has a view on the park, the courtyard and gardens.
A generous breakfast is served each morning in the dining room of the castle.
Located in Anjou Bleu, the Château de La Montchevalleraie is situated in Loire Valley, World heritage listed by the Uneco. Near the cities of Segré (4 km), Château-Gonthier (25 km), Angers (45 km) and Nantes (90 km).
La Montchevalleraie’s bed and breakfast is open from May 1 to September 30.
